Jan Blanton has been part of the Greenbrook Design family since 2015, though her journey actually began as a client—renovating her own 1942 home with a new kitchen and master bath. That experience showed her how much she enjoys guiding others through their own design projects.
As the scheduler, Jan manages the designers’ sales team, assigns leads, and keeps communication flowing smoothly from the beginning to the end of each project. She also enjoys planning creative events that bring new faces into the showroom, boost designer and retail sales, and strengthen community connections—especially the monthly First Friday events that support local businesses and non-profits.
One of Jan’s favorite parts of the job is meeting new people and going on photo shoots to see finished projects come to life. She loves connecting with clients in their homes and often leaves not just as an associate, but as a friend.
Outside of work, Jan enjoys spending time with her family and twin grandsons, celebrating birthdays, and taking trips to the beach or mountains—either one makes her happy.
She strives to make every client experience one they can depend on, enjoy, and remember.
Her favorite quote sums it up perfectly: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill

Cabinet design encompasses many elements to create the perfect kitchen, including the cabinet door style, which offers choices such as inset, overlay, or even completely custom.
What is it about reclaimed wood that makes it so popular? Is it the fact that it possesses a character all its own, or maybe it’s because of the history it holds inside? Whatever the reason, reclaimed wood is trending as a material choice across multiple areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, and home offices.

While this may be the least-used area in the home, it is the one place where we store the things we use daily, such as our clothes, which makes it the most popular option for his and her bedroom and closet design.
More and more homeowners are looking for ways not just to maximize their space but also to be efficient, which is why smart home technology has become popular over the last few years. We love the ease and peace of mind it gives us as we turn off a light with voice commands or secure our doors from our phones.
