Working together to create a unique customer experience.
We invite you to visit our custom cabinet showroom and manufacturing facility during your planning and design process, at which time you will personally meet many of our team members. We will work with you throughout the planning process to help you define your style and choose the perfect design details to create the custom cabinetry you’ve always wanted.
We build custom cabinets right here in the foothills of North Carolina and take great pride in our craftsmanship. Our design approach is unique to each individual homeowner, designer, architect, and contractor depending on the scope and nature of the project. We build a large range of custom projects; from small and simple to large and elaborate. We are focused on the most innovative technology and equipment, as well as skilled craftsmen to bring your vision to reality. But above all, our family business gives you exceptional service and the confidence you need to proceed.
"Customer satisfaction is what drives me and my team of professionals."

General Manager
Justin has been with Walker Woodworking since 2006. He went to church with Travis, and one day they had a chance meeting, which led him to get hired one month before he graduated from college. Justin was the 4th employee in the shop at that time and is now the General Manager. As General Manager, he is responsible for managing everything related to the production flow, scheduling, and output of Walker Woodworking.
Justin has an M.A. in religion from Gardner Webb University, and in his spare time is an avid turkey hunter and spends time with his wife Stephanie and 2 sons.
“I want to do everything to the best of my ability as if I am working for the Lord in every task I perform, be it special or mundane.”
Production Manager/Engineer
David has worked in various positions at Walker Woodworking moving up from shop foreman to Production Manager. David also works closely with the designer to coordinate the planning and installation of cabinetry by making sure shop drawings are accurate with the job site. He is available to review drawings on site with the contractor or subcontractors as needed to ensure the install goes flawlessly.
An engineer with Walker Woodworking since 2019, Holly works with designers to finalize drawings and engineer designs prior to production. With twelve years’ experience in kitchen and bath design, Holly is thorough and meticulous when it comes to finalizing design plans for Walker Woodworking’s custom-made cabinets.
“I love being part of a team that makes customers’ dreams for their custom kitchen and baths a reality.” A 2009 graduate of Western Carolina University, Holly graduated with a B.S. in Interior Design. Holly is a 2005 graduate of Crest High School and she lives in Shelby.
We like to say Jamie came with the building as he worked for the previous owner of our current workshop. He started with Walker Woodworking in 2020. He currently works very closely with the general manager, production manager and install manager handling the production and install scheduling. Jamie is originally from Canada and came to North Carolina on a golf scholarship to Gardner-Webb University where he graduated with an MBA.
Jamie spends his free time on the golf course, or hanging out with his wife Courtney.
