This is just the Beginning!

This is just the beginning chapter of a new book. We are so excited this day has finally become a reality for us! We can totally relate to our homeowners and how they feel when they can enjoy their first meal in a new kitchen!

Greenbrook Design Kitchen & Bath Center will affect multiple generations. Whether you are a Millennial, Generation X or Baby Boomer we have something that will appeal to ALL. It is important for everyone to feel welcome and feel connected in our showroom.

Stacey Walker, “Every corner of the Greenbrook Design Center was carefully thought out from floor to ceiling, and getting to see all of the visuals come together is one of my favorite parts of opening the showroom!”

Featured Project

This month’s featured project is in memory of a client who became a friend!

Construction of this new home brought Walker Woodworking owner Travis Walker, and the homeowner together in 2011. This project was very detailed and tested the skills of a craftsman, but the end result turned out very beautiful. The homeowner recently passed away, and I am honored to have built his dream home for him and his family.

Details:

The kitchen is made of Rustic Alder wood, a light wormhole distressing can be found in the kitchen and pantry. The perimeter of this kitchen painted Toasted Wheat with a custom glaze and wormhole distressing. The kitchen hutch has custom glass doors with seeded glass. Special features in this kitchen included a farm sink, hood, an eat-in island with a TV lift built in, prep sink in the island and custom doors with special mullions. Cookbook storage was a must for this family, and this was probably one of the first custom paper towel holders that Walker Woodworking made.

‘The Man Cave was inspired by the Bohemian hotel in Asheville, where I met the homeowner to discuss options for his personal customized office. The beautiful luster of walnut covers the Man Cave, which also has a personalized family crest carved in the wood panels of the wall.” ~ Travis Walker

There is more. A beautiful teak wood outdoor kitchen, bathrooms, laundry rooms, a custom cedar closet, and an office with window seating. Everything was precisely thought out and designed carefully to satisfy the client. There is so much beauty in this project! Take a moment to look at the photos and leave a comment.

What is CAD?

A computer-aided design with the use of computer systems to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design.

Lead designer Brandon Fitzmorris has over 14 years experience in the full spectrum of cabinetry, from design and construction to installation. He will create your dream kitchen or an entire home in a CAD drawing for you to see first hand before construction ever begins. Brandon always says. “If your kitchen designer doesn’t cook, they probably shouldn’t be designing your kitchen! Brandon is the primary cook in his home!

Our clients experience first hand our artistry and attention to detail during your design meeting. Brandon specializes in space planning, custom storage solutions, and function.
