Our Most Viewed Project

We have completed some tremendously creative projects during the last year.  Some of the most memorable ones have been our remodel projects. Everyone loves seeing before-and-after shots.  We love to share those projects on our #transformationTuesday. VENUES – PAST AND FUTURE

As we look back at 2016, one thing that we can’t forget is our fantastic home shows. We were eagerly involved in the Spring Home & Garden Show in Charlotte as well as the Southern Ideal Show at The Park in Charlotte. We also participated in the Habitat for Humanity Home & Garden show in Shelby. Brandon Fitzmorris, from our design team, gave super informative seminars at these events.  Home shows have always given us a platform from which to showcase our cabinets.

We look forward to new and improved venues for you to visit us in 2017! With the opening of our new Greenbrook Design Center in the Spring we will be scaling back on our home show appearances. Our showroom, located in the Greenbrook Design Center, will feature new trendy designs as well as our historically famous cabinet designs and finishes.  Be sure to sign up for our Newsletter so you don’t miss updates!

Featured in The Wall Street Journal

We like to call it our “Five minutes of fame!” when we were amazingly featured in the Wall Street Journal.  This was extremely exciting for us. It’s not everyday that we get a call from a national publication for a featured article. The WSJ also interviewed the homeowners and featured a great video of them. This laundry room is certainly awesome and has been a favorite on Houzz for a few years.  Be sure to check out the full article.

Marty Warren Joins Walker Woodworking

Walker Woodworking is pleased to introduce Marty Warren to our design team! Marty is our Semi-Custom Sales & Design Coordinator, and has been with us since August 1, 2016. After several months of market research, Walker Woodworking decided that we would offer a semi-custom cabinet line in addition to our own custom cabinets. We have found over the years that many of our customers prefer budget-friendly options for secondary areas in their home.  With this concept in mind,  we will become a one-stop-shop to meet those needs. And if you are on a budget for your kitchen, (the primary area) we can easily assist you with budget-friendly selections, as well.  Bringing together our creative design solutions with our ability to add custom items, such as a custom hood, pull-out spice cabinets, etc., provides Walker Woodworking with a market advantage over our competitors.  We believe that this unique blend of custom and semi-custom cabinets will entice our customers to depend on us for their cabinetry projects.

Innovative Ideas & New Product Introductions

Our team at Walker Woodworking is always eager to learn something new. In this last year our team had a combined 200 hours of training. Our training includes  ‘how to’ classes, upcoming design trends, new product information and market forecasting. We strive to bring the very best to our clients in the kitchen & bath industry. Our annual participation in High Point Market, and KBIS, the leading Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, as well as our partners such as SEN Design and NKBA help us bring the latest and greatest designs to our clients.  Be sure to check our January Newsletter as we reveal the design trends for 2017.

We now offer several different products for your kitchen! One of the most exciting is the Galley Workstation. We can’t wait to feature this in our new showroom at Greenbrook Design Center.  And we are very anxious to utilize it for cooking demos. In addition, we are offering a limited line of lighting. Lighting companies include Noir, Arteriors and CDI Furniture. However, if you are looking for a rustic light that no other vendor carries, we can have it custom made for you by Carroll by Design.  This design company is making  several new lights for our showroom. These are just a few items that will be on display in our new showroom at Greenbrook Design Center.  This upcoming year – 2017-promises to be an extremely exciting one.
