Feeding Kids Benefit Concert
April 28, 2018
Featuring Nashville Hitmakers: Legends of Country Music
We are so excited to be a part of this concert to benefit Feeding Kids of Cleveland County. Last years concert was a first-time event for us and we didn’t really know what to expect. We laughed and we cried and enjoyed every minute. These songwriters are very talented individuals. Hearing about how ideas about writing songs come about from life experiences is intriguing and entertaining.
This event will sell out quickly! Purchase your tickets today.
Feeding Kids of Cleveland County is a non-profit organization that works with the teachers in the Cleveland County schools to identify kids that may not have a meal when they are out of school during regular school breaks and over the summer.

Budgeting for your Kitchen & Bath Project
Remodeling even one room can seem like an overwhelming task, but attempting a kitchen, bath or even a whole-house remodel requires careful planning. Find out why planning on the front end, will give you less heartache and budget mishaps (overages) at the end of your project.
Below are a few topics discussed in this blog to consider when you begin thinking about your budget.
- Function and Design
- Storage flexibility
- Get the most “bang for your buck”
Remember, you should always be flexible; that way you won’t get bent out of shape.
Springtime in the Showroom!
One of the things we love most in the showroom is decorating the rustic farm table in our storefront window. We asked Hayley Deal of Vintage Chic Rentals & Designs to create a spring inspired look for our farm table here at Greenbrook Design.
I think you will agree, she designed a fabulous tablescape that can easily be recreated in your home by bringing the fresh look of springtime to your table with these decorative inspirations.
Natural clay pots, soft floral colors, and vintage china have made this rustic farm table look absolutely fresh and ready for a perfect Easter gathering.
Our showroom is new to Shelby and surrounding areas. We welcome new visitors daily.
Showroom hours: Mon – Thur 9 – 5, Fridays 10 – 4 (*except First Fridays we are open later) and on Saturdays, 10 – 2 .
Are you planning a visit to our showroom?
Did you know we offer more than cabinetry? We sell furniture, decorative accessories, art, lighting and more. Stop by and take a look for yourself!
What did we do in March?
March 17, 2018 ~ Shamrocks, Soups & Salads
Greenbrook Design along with Ashley Bailey of Uptown Olive Oil & More hosted our first cooking class. We had a full house, and the food was delicious!
Ashley demonstrated the uses of olive oils and vinegar in the entire menu. Shown in this photo is a seared beef crostini. A toasted baguette with seared filet mignon, arugula, Gorgonzola cheese and topped with Black Mission Fig Vinegar. It was a good as it looks! All the guest were treated to a bag of green popcorn from Uptown Sweets & Treats, as well as a coffee mug from Greenbrook Design. We will be hosting more classes in the future.

March 22, 2018 ~ Chef Vinnie visits Greenbrook Design!
The staff of Greenbrook Design and Walker Woodworking were treated to a fabulous meal prepared by Chef Vinnie, the Corporate Chef for Subzero – Wolf Appliances. Subzero – Wolf Appliances hosted this lunch and training class. Attendees were shown how to properly use the actual appliances at Greenbrook Design and how to incorporate the appliances into rendered drawings. Did you know you can “steam” a dozen eggs into hard boiled eggs right in the cardboard carton in less than 20 minutes?
